This holiday season, we’re helping customers like Lowe’s bring more power and resiliency to their edge locations to better serve customers. The home improvement leader is deploying Dell EMC VxRail HCI for IT demands in its more than 2,200 home improvement and hardware stores in the U.S. and Canada, helping the company deliver new capabilities that allow its employees to better serve customers during this holiday season and beyond. And Topgolf is using VxRail at the sports entertainment company’s edge to power its revolutionary gaming platform, fueled by Toptracer technology at select venues, that helps create memorable guest experiences.
In Telecommunications, TIM Group announced it has launched two new Open RAN solutions on its network in Matera and Turin, Italy, using Dell Technologies infrastructure. The new network aims to accelerate the development of digital services to benefit citizens and businesses. TIM Group also announced that the first 5G Open RAN connection on 3.7 GHz frequencies has been established in the TIM Innovation Lab in Turin.
Duck River Electric Membership Corporation is a Tennessee-based, member-owned organization that provides electricity to 79,000+ homes and businesses. It is updating its IT infrastructure with #PowerStore, providing the capacity, simplicity and flexibility it needs, while significantly reducing rack space and ownership costs.
Villanova University, home to 11,000 undergraduate and graduate students across 6 colleges, is using #PowerStore, alongside PowerEdge servers, to modernize their infrastructure to help support the agility needed in today’s teaching and learning environment.
