The RSA NOC team is back in action, this time at Black Hat Asia at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Our primary goal is to provide Operational Threat Intelligence and deep visibility into the Black Hat network to ensure the Black Hat infrastructure remains protected and available. Top priorities include protecting the Black Hat registration network and ensuring training sessions are isolated and available.

With each Black Hat engagement we try to provide insight back to RSA in terms of discoveries, software testing, enhancement requests and an activities brief. At Black Hat Asia the NOC team has deployed RSA NetWitness® Suite 10.6.3 in advance of its general availability in April 2017. RSA has an expanded presence, deploying RSA SecurID® Access within the NOC, to protect all infrastructure logins with the RSA SecurID Enhanced Authenticator.

During this build out the Black Hat NOC Team has been busy adapting to changes. Generally, Black Hat Asia is viewed as a live “proof of concept” for any technology changes prior to Black Hat USA….and there have been a lot of infrastructure changes and partner changes at this event.
